Basketball Game Preview: Roscommon Bucks vs. Pinconning Spartans

The Roscommon Bucks will head out on the road to take on the Pinconning Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Roscommon will bounce into Monday's game after beating Northern Michigan Christian, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Roscommon walked away with a 57-50 win over Northern Michigan Christian on Friday.

Keaton Pratt went supernova for Roscommon, going 12 for 22 on his way to 27 points and seven steals. The match was Pratt's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sawyer Griffis, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, Pinconning put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Shepherd 51-33. The 51-point effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Pinconning pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for Roscommon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Roscommon and Pinconning were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January, but Roscommon came up empty-handed after a 51-50 defeat. Can Roscommon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
