Fans of ITW David Speer Academy have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
ITW David Speer Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anaiyah Costoso led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 5 steals and 5 blocks. Another player making a difference was Mia Lozada, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals and 3 blocks.
Despite the loss, Comer saw an underclassman step up: Ra'Quima Wilson scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Wilson scored a full 56% of Comer's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Hudson, who scored 4 points.
ITW David Speer Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Comer, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
