Mingus was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They lost  14-2 to the Flagstaff Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  13-2  last Monday.
 Mingus saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Julia Meyer, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
Mingus' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Flagstaff,  the  win  got them back to even at 5-5-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mingus is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Mohave  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Flagstaff will  challenge  rival Lee Williams  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
