Softball Recap: Windsor Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Windsor waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 14-13 W against the Maria Carrillo Pumas. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since April 11th.

The team relied heavily on Haley Homan, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Rivers, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Windsor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Windsor pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Maria Carrillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.

As of now, neither Windsor nor the Pumas have any future games scheduled.
