Pusch Ridge Christian Academy took down Thatcher on Tuesday, a win that might not have happened without Josie Burnside's standout effort. Burnside struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2024.
