After flying high against Wind River last Friday, Cokeville came back down to earth. The Cokeville Panthers took a 54-40 bruising from the Lyman Eagles on Saturday. Lyman can attribute much of their success to Owen Hansen, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 14 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. Hansen is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Falyn Youngberg, who posted nine points.
Cokeville's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lyman, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mountain View the next time they take the court. Cokeville will head out to face Mountain View on Saturday, while Lyman will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
