Last Friday, Silver Lake Regional had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 28-18 win over Oliver Ames.
Meanwhile, Quincy took a serious blow against Milton, falling 0-49. Quincy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
Silver Lake Regional's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Quincy's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Silver Lake Regional's success rolls on or if Quincy are able to steal their positive momentum.
