As a matter of fact, that's the most points Howard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Mikayla Woods, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
The victory got Grapeland back to even at 11-11. As for Groveton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season.
Grapeland will head out on the road to take on Latexo at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Groveton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lovelady at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lovelady's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
