Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chaparral). They claimed a resounding 79-51 victory over the Carter Lions. While the Pumas didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Chaparral is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Carter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Chaparral will be home for the holidays to greet Corona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Corona will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Chaparral surely won't give up without a fight. As for Carter, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Carter Lions face off against the Jurupa Valley Jaguars at 12:30 p.m. on December 26th.
