The Waterford Ravens's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rowland Hall 44-16 at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Waterford had established a 26 point advantage.
It was another big night for Anne Howard, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ana Holtey, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Waterford's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Rowland Hall, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterford will take on American Prep WV at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterford has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Rowland Hall, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rowland Hall is coming into the game with six straight defeats at home, meaning St. Joseph will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
