Ocean Lakes extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 13-4 in the process. They blew past the Princess Anne Cavaliers 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Dolphins, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Ocean Lakes got a great performance from Daniel Hamilton as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). Those nine strikeouts gave Hamilton a new career-high.

At the plate, Grey Walsh was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Hamilton, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Ocean Lakes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Princess Anne only posted an OBP of .167.

As for Princess Anne, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this match were averaging 3.67 runs allowed.

On Princess Anne's side, Aidan McKeating made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. Chase Rutledge also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coming up, Ocean Lakes will head out on the road to square off against Cox at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princess Anne, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Granby at 5:00 p.m.
