The Blue Devils added to another elite talent haul Monday with the commitment of point guard
Trevon Duval – the No. 5 overall recruit in the 2017 class.
Duval had a big senior season at
IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), averaging 17 points and seven assists per game in leading the program to a 26-2 record.
Joining Duval in Mike Krzyzewski's incoming class are No. 6 overall recruit

Pace Academy (Atlanta, Ga.), No. 16
Gary Trent Jr. (6-5, G) of
Prolific Prep Academy (Napa, Calif.), No. 64
Alex O'Connell (6-5, G) of
Milton (Ga.), No. 77
Jordan Tucker (6-7, G/F) of
Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) and
Jordan Goldwire (6-2, G) of
Norcros (Ga.).
Duke is also still in the hunt for 6-11
Mohamed Bamba of
Westtown (West Chester, Pa.), 247Sports' No. 2 recruit in the Class of 2017.
Nothing new in Durham as the Blue Devils have landed either the No. 1 or No. 2 recruiting class each of the past four years. Harry Giles, Brandon Ingram, Frank Jackson, Tyus Jones, Luke Kennard, Jahlil Okafor and Jayson Tatum have all signed with Duke during that span.

Trevon Duval led upstart IMG Academy to Dick's Sporting Goods High School Nationals in New York City to end the 2016-17 season.
