Mia Sherrill was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of St. Paul Lutheran's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Pippa Detring, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
St. Paul Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
St. Paul Lutheran will be playing at home against Lesterville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bourbon at 5:30 p.m. on January 8th.
