Manteca has gone 8-2 against East Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Buffaloes will take on the Lancers at 4:00 p.m. Manteca is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Manteca came out on top against Sierra on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run second inning. The Buffaloes' pitchers stepped up to hand the Timberwolves a 9-0 shutout. Considering the Buffaloes have won six games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Isabel Tonna looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Aleisa Harris was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Sienna Owen was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Manteca kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sierra only managed four.
Meanwhile, East Union suffered their closest loss since March 27, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of Central Catholic by a score of 9-7. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.
Lily Pickering made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Michaela Tarr, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.
Manteca's record is now 11-6. As for East Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Manteca was able to grind out a solid win over East Union when the teams last played back in March, winning 4-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buffaloes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
