Maclay hadn't done well against North Florida Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Marauders never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in March.

Maclay's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Henry Richardson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Maclay is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Florida Christian, their record is now 8-11.
