Canyon View came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Manti Templars. Considering the Falcons have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brady Anderson was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Price Atwood, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Anderson wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Canyon View kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive matchups.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Manti, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Canyon View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Templars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
