The Todd County Falcons put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Winnebago with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. That's another feather in the cap for Todd County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Todd County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Valandra, who rushed for 156 yards. Valandra hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for nine straight games. Wakinyan Sa Selwyn was another key contributor, picking up 49 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Todd County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Winnebago's QB won't forget Drake Espinoza anytime soon given Espinoza sacked him four times.
Todd County's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Winnebago, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Todd County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winnebago also has no future games currently scheduled.
