Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hazel Park). They breezed by the Madison Eagles to the tune of 59-26 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Harmony Hays was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 assists. Another player making a difference was Tangela Charleston, who posted 23 points and seven boards.

Hays wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Hazel Park was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Hazel Park's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Madison, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hazel Park has already played their next match (against Eastpointe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Madison will venture away from home to challenge New Haven at 5:30 p.m. on February 5th.
