Meanwhile, Modoc suffered their biggest  defeat since August 25th on Saturday. They came up short against  Etna, falling  3-0. Considering the last time the Braves couldn't score was  back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
 While Modoc was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Etna's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15,  25-22.
 Modoc now  has a losing record of 10-11-2. As for Mt. Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5-2.
