The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers had a rough go of it in January when they matched up with the Sauk Prairie Eagles and had to endure more of the same on Tuesday. Beaver Dam fell just short of Sauk Prairie by a score of 54-51. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the rankings mixed up the winning team.
The Golden Beavers' loss pushed them down to 7-13. The victory improved the Eagles' record to 7-10-1.
The Golden Beavers will be playing at home against Portage Friday. Portage lost a close one recently, falling 56-52 to Baraboo on Tuesday. As for Sauk Prairie, they will face off against Baraboo Friday. Baraboo also got away with a close one in their previous game.
