The Tularosa Wildcats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 70-22 victory over Estancia. The result was nothing new for Tularosa, who have now won six matchups by 41 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, Estancia still got an impressive performance from Joshua Calhoon, who rushed for 263 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Calhoon was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 64 yards.
Tularosa is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Estancia, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
