Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe took  a  26-point  defeat the last time they faced off against North Cobb Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors skirted past the Eagles  47-44. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
  Darian Keefe had a dynamite game, throwing for 221 yards and three  TDs while completing 76.2% of his passes, and also picking up 36 receiving yards and one  touchdown. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards (61). Another player making a difference was  Jared Mitchell, who picked up 69 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Despite the loss, North Cobb Christian still got an impressive performance from   Cooper Bazarsky, who rushed for 131 yards and one  TD.
Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe pushed their record up to 6-3 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 36.5 points over those games. As for North Cobb Christian, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record  this season.
