Nikos Connaway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Van-Far, almost dropping a triple-double on 25 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Connaway has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Carter Jennings was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Mark Twain has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Van-Far, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4.
Mark Twain will head out on the road to challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Tigers in Missouri (the Wildcats are ranked 123rd, while the Tigers are ranked 533rd). As for Van-Far, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fighting Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
