Connetquot won the last time they faced Copiague and things went their way on Friday too. The T-Birds blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Connetquot never let Copiague on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-2, 25-22, 25-12.

Connetquot's offense was headlined by Ella Vereb and Gisele Trzaskalski, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Leah White and her 18 assists. Alexandra Patsos controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Connetquot's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Connetquot will head out to challenge Commack at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Copiague will be paying especially close attention to the T-Birds' game: after the T-Birds face off against North Babylon, they'll take on Copiague again at 4:15 p.m. on the 18th.
