They claimed a resounding 92-28 victory over Pleasant Hill at home. Winning may never get old, but Summit Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Summit Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Thomas iii, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Jeffries, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Summit Christian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Summit Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on the Gryphons at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University Academy Charter has now lost 16 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1. As for Pleasant Hill, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Center presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Roosters/Chicks in Missouri (the Yellowjackets are ranked 202nd, while the Roosters/Chicks are ranked 455th).
