Union had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Eupora Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Yellowjackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Union saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kooper Fultz, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

Union's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. As for Eupora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Union will have a chance to go back-to-back against Eupora: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
