The Odessa Tigers came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 43-38 win over Valley Christian. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Odessa also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Odessa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Schuh, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six steals. Schuh hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Another player making a difference was Melloney Deife, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Odessa has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Valley Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Odessa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
