Silas Roode Game Report: @ Mellen

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Silas Roode stepped things up a notch to give Washburn the 'W'. Mellen had no answer to Roode as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Coming up, Roode and Washburn will face off against Chequamegon at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Castle Guards have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since April of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
