Basketball Recap: Highland Extends Winning Streak to Three

Highland proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 32) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over the O'Connor Eagles. The Hawks' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Highland's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ty Crandall led the charge by going 7-for-14 en route to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Reber, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Highland's record is now 3-0. As for O'Connor, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Highland will be taking part in a tournament against Seven Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for O'Connor, they will venture away from home to face off against Millennium at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
