Bellevue East's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kris Brown, who scored 16 points, and Ammi Williams who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Williams scored 15 or more points. Kael Walker was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Millard South's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for Bellevue East, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Millard South against Bellevue East in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 71-29 win. With Millard South ahead 41-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
