Hills Academy relied on the efforts of Adrian Campbell, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five assists, and Micah Pugh, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ralph Doomes III, who scored four points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Arlington Christian strolled past W D Mohammed with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 64-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Arlington Christian.
Chezi Essel was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Davon Aikens, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Hills Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Arlington Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Hills Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 68.4 points per game. It's a different story for Arlington Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 62.1 points per game.
