Baseball Recap: Hampton-Dumont/CAL Gets the Win

While Hampton-Dumont/CAL's victory against North Butler wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Hampton-Dumont/CAL had just enough and edged out North Butler 3-2. Hampton-Dumont/CAL hasn't had any issues with North Butler recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hampton-Dumont/CAL's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for North Butler, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hampton-Dumont/CAL will take on Algona at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Hampton-Dumont/CAL surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Butler, they will challenge Northwood-Kensett at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.45 runs per game on average), something the Bearcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
