After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against St. Frances Academy, Mount St. Joseph was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They slipped by the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers  66-65. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Gaels have posted  since January 10th.

Perhaps the best among them was   Kam Carter, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 18 points and nine  boards. What's more,  Carter posted two  steals, the most he's  had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of  Terrence Moultrie Jr, who  shot 55% from the field on his way to 14  points and eight  rebounds.
With the  win, Mount St. Joseph broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-12. As for Archbishop Spalding,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 23-9.
