The Weber Warriors will head out on the road to  take on  the Syracuse Titans at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 On Thursday, Weber made easy work of Farmington  and carried off  a  16-7 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Weber.
  Isabella Bird made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  hit, only one  earned run over 4.2 innings pitched. Bird was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Weber got a  massive  performance out of  Moira Tinsley, who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Hailey Merrill, who  went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 Meanwhile, Syracuse came into Thursday's   contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victor by  a  14-2 margin over Layton. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest  win Syracuse has managed all season.
 Syracuse also got a great performance from  Jacee Hammon as she  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits.
 At the plate,  Jazmine Prathan was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times she's  played.  Oaklee Derrickson was another key contributor,  going 3-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Weber is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record  this season. As for Syracuse, their record is now 6-4.
