The Conway Christian Eagles will head out on the road to take on the King's Academy Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Conway Christian suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 65-42 walloping at the hands of Marlboro Academy. Conway Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wyatt Polatty put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brailin Barnhill, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, King's Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 55-29 loss at the hands of Marlboro Academy. King's Academy has not had much luck with Marlboro Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Conway Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
Conway Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against King's Academy in their previous meeting last Thursday, but they still walked away with a 38-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Conway Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
