Belvidere North entered their tilt with Freeport on Wednesday with 11 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 12. They never let the Pretzels get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Thunder, who have now won 16 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Belvidere North got a massive performance out of Miley Dobbs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs Dobbs has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Hallie Inman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Belvidere North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Freeport only posted a batting average of .133.

Belvidere North's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Freeport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Coming up, Belvidere North will head out on the road to challenge Boylan Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freeport, they will be playing at home against Rockford Auburn at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pretzels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
