The Branford Buccaneers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Chiefland Indians at 2:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
Last Monday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Branford had to settle for a 57-54 defeat against Trenton.
Meanwhile, Chiefland earned a 42-30 win over Trenton on Friday. The victory was just what Chiefland needed coming off of a 86-49 defeat in their prior match.
Branford has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season. As for Chiefland, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
Branford was dealt a bruising 70-36 loss at the hands of Chiefland in their previous matchup back in December of 2022. Can Branford avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
