The Hanks Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Gadsden 66-33 on the road. The win was nothing new for Hanks as they're now sitting on four straight.
Zoey Burton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marina Ruiz, who scored ten points along with eight assists and three steals.
Hanks is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Gadsden, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Hanks will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Andress at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Andress focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 last Friday. Gadsden will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Deming at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
