Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Veritas Christian Academy Eagles.
 Despite the loss, Fulton still got an impressive performance from   Estella Vanschenkhof, who  had nine  aces, six  digs,  and one  block. The team also got some help courtesy of  Bre Knighten, who  had 15  kills and eight  digs.
Fulton's  loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-21. As for Veritas Christian Academy,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.
As of now, neither Fulton nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
