The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wellston, who took down 239th ranked Holdenville, 21-14.
Okemah extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 5 this week by beating Konawa, 59-20. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Meeker's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jake Standlee threw for 102 and two touchdowns and Dallas Jackson had 87 yards receiving. On the ground Standlee chipped in 205 yards. Nick Cagle helped Meeker's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
The Bulldogs' Standlee and Cagle have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Standlee has thrown for 766 yards this season, while Cagle, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 15 catches for 384 yards. Haskell's Alex Wheeland leads the league in rushing yards with 981.
The Haymakers' Wheeland needs only 19 yards against the Tigers next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Stroud takes on Okemah. The Tigers have allowed 49 points this season, while Joe Turner's team has given up 119.
Stroud took down Haskell 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
