The Octorara Area Braves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
After a string of seven wins, Octorara Area's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Constitution, falling 91-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (61), Octorara Area still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Lancaster Catholic scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern Lebanon County and snuck past 69-66. The victory was some much needed relief for Lancaster Catholic as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Octorara Area's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2. As for Lancaster Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.
Octorara Area was able to grind out a solid win over Lancaster Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 78-70. Will Octorara Area repeat their success, or does Lancaster Catholic have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
