Pennington barely beat Lawrenceville School the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Red Hawks were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Big Red on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Red Hawks, who have now won six contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Pennington's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.4 runs this season. As for Lawrenceville School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coming up, Pennington will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Lawrence at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Red Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lawrenceville School, they will head out to face off against Hill School at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
