Rio Vista entered their tilt with Italy on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Gladiators. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Rio Vista's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.8 runs over those games. As for Italy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Vista will square off against Meridian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Italy, they will challenge Frost at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Polar Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.79 runs per game on average), something the Gladiators will no doubt try to take advantage of.
