St. Joseph Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Academy at the Lakes. Their defense stepped up to hand the Academy at the Lakes Wildcats a 5-0 shutout. Considering the Flashes have won 14 matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Joseph Academy pushed their record up to 19-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those seven contests. As for Academy at the Lakes, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.

Coming up, St. Joseph Academy will face off against Canterbury at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Canterbury will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something St. Joseph Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Academy at the Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
