We expected Collins Hill to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked North Gwinnett last Friday, and they did. Collins Hill found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 14-37 punch to the gut against North Gwinnett. Collins Hill's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Robert Waters, who rushed for 67 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Discovery, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were dealt a punishing 7-42 defeat at the hands of Mill Creek. Discovery were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Collins Hill took their match against Discovery the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 45-12 score.
