Basketball Recap: Exeter Beats Orange Cove for Their Third Straight Victory

Exeter had won two straight games and Aden Plyman did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Monarchs blew past the Orange Cove Titans 89-40 with plenty of help from Plyman, who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 11 boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least 21 points.

Jake Iversen was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Exeter's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Orange Cove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Exeter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 98-25 victory against Farmersville on the 19th. As for Orange Cove, they have also already played their next game, a 77-43 loss against Golden West on the 19th.
