After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Morgantown Christian Academy, Elk Valley Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 96-64 victory over the Hannan Wildcats. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Evan Hines continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 12 of 18 on his way to 30 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Spencer Campbell was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 17 boards.

Elk Valley Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryce Phillips, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Ian Chaffin, who scored 11 points.

Elk Valley Christian pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points per game. As for Hannan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Elk Valley Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-53 loss against New Life Christian Academy on the 25th. Hannan has also already played their next contest, an 80-48 defeat against Wood County Christian on the 25th.
