Sarah Godwin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin Academy, scoring 20 points along with 9 steals and 7 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Godwin has scored at least 25% of Franklin Academy's points. Claire Stengl was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 7 steals and 6 rebounds.
Oxford Prep now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Franklin Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxford Prep will take on East Wake Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. East Wake Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Franklin Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Chatham Charter will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
