Bayside lost against Newtown back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Commodores took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers. The Commodores' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Bayside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Newtown, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Bayside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 loss against Richmond Hill on the 10th. Newtown has also already played their next game (against Stuyvesant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
