It was a good run, but the Thrall Tigers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 50-41 to Bangs. Thrall lost against Bangs in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 35-18 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Thrall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashlyn Jarosek. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The match was Jarosek's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Irvin, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Thrall now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Bangs, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.
Thrall's road trip will continue as they head out to face Coleman at 9:20 a.m. on December 28th. Bangs won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Gorman at 10:40 a.m. on December 28th. Gorman's defense has only allowed 24.5 points per game this season, so Bangs' offense will have their work cut out for Bangs.
